Every year in winter, the castle opens its doors to a fabulous event, quite unique in France: a typical Christmas market within the castle.

On Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November 2012 and for the 18th time running, Father Christmas and his 50 acolytes will be bringing joy and happiness once more to all the children in Brissac and their parents alike.

A fairytale atmosphere and a sheer delight to the eye await you: Christmas trees in plenty tinsel garlands of all colours, dazzling Christmas light, enchanting music, intoxicating odours of brioches and chocolates and comforting hot wine.

Whether it be the Grand Salon and its Venetian crystal chandeliers or the magnificent Grand Gallery and its beautiful painted ceiling, the historical rooms of the castle will accommodate craftsmanship at its best from wooden toys to valuable china.

In a word, the castle will be vibrating with the emotion and the magic of Christmas, and the children will be quivering with anticipation.
